Self-spelling KANJI
To celebrate a universally popular music festival, a special typeface was created out of the names of the featured artists. The typeface featured in newspaper ads, posters as well as the festival signage. Many Japanese names consist of Chinese characters, 'kanji'. These can be read in different ways, but by using so-called 'okurigana', the phonetic reading can be ascertained. Both types were mixed creating a character that can be instinctively read by everyone.

为了庆祝一个普遍流行的音乐节,一个特殊的字体是由特色艺术家的名字创建的。 报纸广告,海报以及节日标志中的字体。 许多日本名字由汉字“汉字”组成。 这些可以用不同的方式阅读,但通过使用所谓的'okurigana',可以确定语音阅读。 两种类型都是混合的,创造了一个可以被每个人本能地阅读的角色。
